PR Campaigns: Fox Sports

DESCRIPTION: Class Project: In one of the capstone classes for my major, PR Campaigns, we worked with Fox Sports’ FS1 studio channel. Within the class, we were divided into several teams and competed against each other to deliver the winning PR plan. At the end of the semester, my team delivered the winning pitch to the executives at Fox Sports. We did sign a non-disclosure agreement, so unfortunately I am unable to share our body of work. However, detailed below is a general description of the scope of the project.

Deliverables

  • Background/audience research: Included extensive PEST/SWOT analyses, literature review on audience demographics as well as competitors, ideas to be pretested, 15+ interviews, 2 focus groups, and a survey (200+ responses collected)

  • Developed (and met) realistic objectives, strategies, tactics and evaluation plans: Included a tiered, multi-strategy approach, a media list, timescales, budget, and specific evaluation metrics

  • Produced a portfolio of supporting materials: Included a campaign logo, Instagram/Facebook mockups, and shareable story graphics. I also designed our final background/audience research report, as well as final campaign report in InDesign for our client

  • Designed and delivered a pitch deck: This was presented to Fox Sports executives at the end of the semester via Zoom
